I am three quarters of the way through my first year with the number three, and I have to say, thirty, so far, is AWESOME! You are still young, but have actual life experience from all those dumb mistakes made in the fun-loving twenties. Life is still full and beckoning, but with less of the angst. That's just my take anyway. ;)

Oh my God, what a beautiful and happy baby! I see you got Death comes to Pemberley (me too, can't wait til every blogger talks about and we share views!) and Bossypants. I listened to it on the bus on my way to college for a week. It was so damn funny that I was laughing all alone in a bus full of people at 8 in the morning. Blame Fey, of course.

I think my 30s were the best! They were freeing … exactly because you get to unload all those expectations from others you shoulder during your 20s.

AHHHH you got Death Comes to Pemberley! That was the one book I wanted the most for Christmas - probably the one THING I wanted most, but apparently I didn't beg hard enough. I'm going to buy it for myself, though - either a three-month early birthday present, or late Christmas present.

I'm SO glad Lulu's first Christmas was wonderful. That's a memory you will cherish forever.
